Our updated emblem features a cut-out center, accentuating the classic flaming Chalice. The chalice and the flame were brought together as a Unitarian symbol by an Austrian artist, Hans Deutsch, in 1941. There are many connotations of this symbol, most simply stated as an inclusive expression of religious faith. Coincidentally, with the new design this emblem would make a beautiful addition to any holiday tree, and can be removed after the holidays and used as a car emblem.
