Anti-gay Christian and "Pro-Family" groups are protesting their new label. The Southern Poverty Law Center has rightfully designated many of these biblically inspired groups hate groups and they're pissed!

Quoting bridgit:
They gave much more airtime to anti-gay groups and spokespeople than to the southern poverty law center, and no time at all to gay activists.

I took it more as 'look at these morons digging themselves deeper' rather than giving them moer air time. pro gay groups would jsut say 'we support the decision. Because it's true.' Besides, major news stations try not to take sides. Except fox, which isn't proper news anyway.

Watching christian hate groups dig go 'maybe men who molest boys identify as gay' which isn't really research, nor the issue. That's not an issue of sexuality, but of abuse. but... yeah. Christians, what can I say?

Just because they hate gay people doesn't make them a hate group.

"Merely engage in propoganda..." Tell that to the gays in Uganda. Burn all the churches. Is that hate speech?

Am I the only one who thinks this report/video clip is biased? They gave much more airtime to anti-gay groups and spokespeople than to the southern poverty law center, and no time at all to gay activists. The hurtful and untrue claim by the family research council went unchallenged, as did the assertion that the splc is target groups which are merely "politically incorrect." Calling homosexuals "pedophiles" and same sex couples "unnatural" isn't "politically incorrect," it's hateful, and I'm saddened to see such rhetoric go unchallenged in a major news station.
