You believe in a mythical being and this particular Native American beleives in the earth and sky. Who has their feet mired in ignorance? His is proven - yours is based on text written long after your Jesus died - if, in fact, he ever existed. You have no right to say that your religion (your invisible friend) is better than his.

I face this on a daily basis, on a...wait for it....MOTORCYCLE forum! It has turned into a "knock Obama and everything he stands for, religious f'ing right, gun-toting, "F" anyone who isn't like us, Screw the Mezcans, Prayer Meeting". Woo-woo!! I'm going to Hell!!! I have a few Navajo/Dine friends out around Gallup. They have to put up with this hate from the infestation of missionaries on the Rez. What's terrifying about this, really, is that they are Two Spirit people. It is not traditional to hate them, but there's extreme homophobia on the Rez. In fact, several murders in Albuquerque are of transgenederd Navajo women. Police don't care. So, they have to resist the hatred of whites, the hatred of some of their people who've been corrupted by whites, indifference from law enforcement and their own self doubts. Talk to me again about alcoholism on the Rez, please, with eighty to ninety percent unemployment? Who brought the alcohol in the first place, and why?

Many people on Navajo don't have electricity, running water, phone service, internet or even roads. If people want to help, they could start there and worry about "The Seven Directions" after the basics are covered. :sigh:
