Trey Parker and Matt Stone, creators of South Park, have conquered Broadway. Trey and Matt took home 9 Tony Awards last night, including Best Musical for their smash hit, ‘The Book of Mormon’. Parker thanked the author of the original text, Joseph Smith, in his acceptance speech, "You did it, Joseph! You got the Tony!"
Andrew Rannells performed “I Believe” from the ‘The Book of Mormon’ last night. See below for the performance.

Palendrome Girl, did you know that Trey Parker is on record as saying that he finds fundamental atheism the most ludicrous of all religions! Not that I am a believer myself, but be very careful about assuming that just because a satirist teases one person, they wouldn't find your own egoic certainty just as mockable!
Let's hope that when people like Trey Parker and Matt Stone put out a piece of work like this, and a sample makes it on to the major networks; the exposure will make people think about the likelihood that the tenets of their own religion might be just as ridiculous as those of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints.
