You Know His Name Wasn’t Jesus, Right?

You know his name wasn't really Jesus Christ, right? Jesus is just the Greek translation of Yeshua, which translates from Hebrew to Joshua. But his name wasn't Josh Christ, either, since his parents weren't Joseph and Mary Christ. So it's really not blasphemy to say "Jesus Christ," because it's not taking the right name in vain. Isn't religion fun?

And Christ is just the Greek word for Messiah. Sadly, they were very mistaken in this case.

Quick side note/reminder to those who like to share STW: I have no problem with you sharing STW to your friends or whoever. However, I request that you link back to the main site when you do so, and preferrably, to the site and not the image itself. Please do not use imgur or some other major rehosting site; and absolutely do not crop out the URL. Most of you are really good about this, and I appreciate it. I just wanted to reiterate the standard for those who are unaware.

In general, rehosting comics creates a loss of recognition for the creator - a problem when that person is making his/her livelihood off them! Just because something is posted on the internet does not mean that it becomes your property as much as the creator's. I see this being done to other webcomics all the time and it irritates the hell out of me. Thanks, everybody.
